Last week, Faurecia employees and their families celebrated a joint summer party at the Stadthagen site. Among other things, Faurecia, a FORVIA Group company, opened the extensively renovated entrance area. They presented the production areas to the guests for the first time after the relocation of the German headquarters to Hanover. Around 500 visitors enjoyed offers for the whole family, including a raffle and a car show of special models.

„For me it is great to see how we have given the Stadthagen production site a new face. Having renovated premises and restructured manufacturing, we believe we are well positioned for the future. We are pleased to be able to present this to our families with a summer party.“

Restructured areas for over 300 employees

Guests were able to take tours of the plant to see the renovated areas and experience driverless transport systems or handling robots in action, for example. At the Stadthagen site, Faurecia produces metal structures and complete seats in two divisions.

In metal production, 160 employees produce metal structures in small series, mainly for the high-end vehicles of brands such as BMW, Audi, VW or Bentley. Innovative concepts for series production are also developed in this area and tested for the company's worldwide production.

The area of complete seat production has been in existence since March 2020 and with the establishment of the production, the location could be expanded to include the competence of complete seat production.

150 employees produce the equipment for the passenger compartment of the VW T6 "just-in-time" on five assembly lines. Seats for up to 750 vehicles a day are produced and delivered here.
